Celebrating 21 years of preaching the love of Jesus Christ.

As we all celebrate together the 21 years of Hope in Jesus international ministries where in God has enabled us through his grace to preach the everlasting love of Jesus Christ, let me start off by saying “All Glory and honor to our Savior Jesus Christ “ according to Revelation 4:11

When I look back at these 21 years ,I can only thank Jesus for his ongoing grace to fulfill the promise that he has promised us in Philippians 1:4,It is he who started this and he is still leading us faithfully this 21st year.

To recap Hope in Jesus Ministry began in the year 1989 when my Dad Dr.S.J.Manomohan was miraculously healed by Jesus Christ. I still remember the days when I was studying in my 3rd grade in St.Mathews Public School in the city of Vijayawada in the State of Andhra Pradesh. In the month of April 1989 my dad was transferred to Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh as the Manager of the Federal Bank Branch.We packed all our belongings and started travelling to Andhra Pradesh from Tiruvalla in Kerala where my father was the Manager of the Nedumpuram Branch.I Still believe that it was a pre planned act from Jesus to take us to that place according to Jeremiah 29:11.
We as a family were not happy to move to a state like Andhra Pradesh,but as the bible says that God's Ways are always higher than that of Man.We started off our Journey from Tiruvalla in our Fiat Car and our Goods were loaded into our Uncle David's truck.Myself ,my brother ,my mom and my dad traveled in our car with a driver and the rest of them in the truck.As we were approaching the border of Andhra Pradesh,it was almost midnight and we were driving though a deserted area and all of a sudden a police officer stopped our car and asked my dad whether he could travel in that for a distance of 25km,my dad told him "If you dont mind as my family is travelling in my car ,can you please travel in our truck".The police man accepted this with great happiness.As we travelled a 20km more suddenly from no where we could see people coming towards our vehicles with fire arms in their hands,immediately this police officer took a bright torch from his bad which had a red cap on that and he started blinking that towards this crowd,suddenly surprising us they disappeared.After 5 more kms the police man asked us to stop the vehicle as he had to get down,he got down from the vehicle and he called my dad and the uncle david and told them a fearful fact that the crowd which we saw were DACOITS ,they had come to loot us and kill us all and when they saw the policeman blinking his red torch light they let us go as we were escorted by police and he told us to go 5kms a head and you will see a police check post and to stop our vehicles and not to travel any further.My dad and uncle david were taken back by this statements,they thought to themself how lucky they were and my father turned to the police man to say a thanks and found that he had disappeared into the Dark,then my dad remebered "For God commands the angels to guard you in all your ways.With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone." Psalms 91:11-12
This was a great miracle that we experienced from Jesus.

We got settled in Vijayawada and we joined our new schools and enjoyed studying in our new schools,one day in the month of July as we came back we found our Dad lying on his bed and mom telling us that he was sick,Dad was not able to urinate and just like anybody else he and mom suspected that it was a kidney stone and took it lightly,the next day all four of us went to the biggest hospital in Vijayawada,the doctors did all the tests on his body and there was no trace of kidney stone moreover the doctors could not diagnose the disease.This continued for 6 more days and day by day my Dad became so weak in his body that he became bedridden,things dramatically changed for our family in a span of 6 days,my grandparents had come all the way from Trivandrum in Kerala and our house in mood of death to happen.Nobody was able to help us in this situation,and that was the time we notice a Jesus Calls Magazine in our house which read "For 24 hours Prayer Contact",my dad never believed in miracles through telephone prayers ,but as there was no hope in anything else my dad called up the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in Chennai,a sister picked up the call and she prayed a normal prayer after 2 minutes suddenly she screamed out saying "I can See the hands of Jesus Christ,the same nail pierced hand,its coming down and touching you and right now you are healed",we felt a supernatural presence of God in our room,my mom who was standing there fell down by the presence of God,we knew something supernatural happened.My dad felt something new in his body,he went to the washroom checked himself and found out that he was completely healed by the Powerful Jesus Christ as he did in the bible according to Acts 10:38.

This incident on July 27th 1989 changed our lives upside down.From that Day till today as my dad is 56 years of Age for the past 21 years he has never been to a doctor nor admitted in a hospital,thats the power of Jesus,when Jesus does a miracle it will be a permanent one.It marked the start of a small prayer group called Hope in Jesus in Andhra Pradesh.We had lost all the hope but understood that there is hope in Jesus according to 1Tim 1:1.

From a small prayer group which started off in 1989 ,today the lord has enabled us to reach out to millions through the ministry,We have preached in many states in India and God has enabled us to take the gospel in person to more than 5 other countries.
Through our television program in Surya TV and Power Vision we have shared this Hope which we got from Jesus to millions and still we are running a faithful race with only one aim that no soul should be lost.

The devil has tried in many ways to pull us from this race but the power of the holy spirit god has led us by his hand and grace,many have questions ,why are they doing this,i have only one thing to say we are employed by our master called Jesus in his vineyard,as we are working for him ,the master will answer all these questions through the power of his Holy Spirit for all his employees.

As partners of our ministry read this i want you all to pray with me for the Hope in Jesus International Ministries, that many should be blessed ,my Dad Dr.S.J.Manomohan that Jesus should use him more for the gospel ,all the pastors in our ministry and finally i want all of you to pray for me and my family that Jesus will enable us with the power of his holy spirit to preach the gospel,to heal the sick,to drive out the demons and to baptize people in the name of the Father,Son and the Holy Spirit God.Mark 16:16 Amen

Our First Wedding Anniversary

May 28th 2010 as i and my beloved wife Greeshma is celebrating our first wedding anniversary.We wanted to celebrate this with our family and friends but here we are in Bangalore international airport waiting to board a flight to sharjah to preach the gospel of my master according to Mark 16:16.

Looking back at this year ,when i think of the moments of anxiety we went through the same time last year on the eve of our marriage reminds me of the anxiety that zacchaeus had when he climbed up the sycamore fig tree to see Jesus in Luke 19.I would love to say that the bible clearly explains the different stages involved in the process of salvation.Our anxiety to see or experience Jesus is the first step of Salvation.

May 28th 2009 was a big turning point in my life when i understood the love of my Master when i got married to Greeshma Mullakkara. In-fact i should say that i never slept the previous night,my best friends Prabin(who is presently working in United States) and Stiju(working with HP,Bangalore) were together with me and encouraging with words and preparing me for the D-day.Early morning as i woke for prayer ,i just had one prayer request that my partner should be like as what God promised in Psalm 128:3-6.

10am the marriage service and it was a glorious moments to see the children of God gathered to worship God and was so happy to see some very special servants of God,Dr.Paul Dhinakaran,Rev Paul Thangiah,Rev Dr.K.C.John and Rev V T Abraham.The presence of God was immense as its written in Haggai 2:9.

A good prophetic word from Dr Paul Dinakaran where he prophesied on the basis of God telling David that he will build a house for David.

And from that day till today when i look at our past 1 year ,let me tell you that God is building our house ,he has laid a good foundation for our life.

If we have the anxiety to see Jesus and allow Jesus to build our lives or families and if we never loose our first love(Rev 2.3) we can confidently look forward to the promise that Jesus has promised in Rev 2:7 the Eternal Life.

Let the Holy Spirit God guide you and enable you to receive this wonderful promise.

Blogging for the Gospel

In this fast and advanced world,the devil who is the master of this world is at work to spread his tactics to make man away from God by sinning and not getting the best gift available the eternal life(Rom 6:23).The Holy spirit God at the same time is using young servants of God to come up with pace and use the same medium which the devil is using to spread the Gospel of Jesus.Being a software engineer in a multinational company i always stayed away from the social networking and blogging sites,but now as the holy spirit God spoke to me to use the medium to write about the creator of the universe,the lord of Lords and the king of Kings and his name is JESUS. In fact am so happy to write my first blog on the eve of my travel to the United Arab Emirates to preach the love of Jesus Christ and its also the eve of my first wedding anniversary.I am married to my love Greeshma Mullakkara(D/o Rev Devasia Mullakkara a renowned evangelist in Kerala a small state from India),she is also a software professional like me and together we had a blessed year where we worked from Mon-Fri for our companies and on Saturdays and Sundays for my Master.And God has blessed us abundantly through out this first year.
Being the Son of Bro S.J.Manomohan ( a renowned evangelist) from Kerala,prior to having a call from God,He was a senior manager with Federal Bank,and in 1989 Jesus picked him up and healed him and send him as an apostle to nations.(I will write a blog on how Jesus saved my Dad)
And its a pleasure and happy times in my life to see our parents as well as me and my wife working for our Master Jesus.
The Gospel is Very Simple
1.Jesus is Christ is the only way or the only one who can save you from Sins and give you an experience of Salvation.(John 6:53)
2.Jesus Christ is the only one who can heal your sickness as he is one who bore your sickness on the cross.(Exo 15:26)
3.Jesus Christ is the only one who can always be there with you by anointing you with the power of the holy spirit so that he can comfort you,guide you,show you the way to walk and also will convict you of sin, righteousness and judgement.(John 14:16)
4.Finally Jesus is the only King and he will come again to judge us and and spend the eternal life that we have with Jesus.(2Tim 4:1)

If you are reading this blog and feeling that there is a void in my life which no body can fill,let me tell you a good news that there is a JESUS who is the only one who can fill the void in your life if you invite him into your life,As the Bible says in Rev 3.20,if you open your heart he will come into your life.
